website review partner pages

jody.garnett
Good afternoon board:

One of the tasks taken on by the board was writing up descriptions of the foundations partners (and a few friends like OpenStreetMap.) This was completed by the board way back in June, and is now available on the beta website for review and feedback:

Can I ask board members to double check to make sure we have not missed anyone, and the relationship to OSGeo is correct in each case.

Initial review, and comments from twitter, have caught a few things (example sorting is not applied yet) so please keep your eyes open.

Thanks!

I will look at it over the weekend - we have spring registration and dissertations defenses going on in addition to regular teaching so my time is limited but it should get better next week.

Thanks for working on this - it looks great,

Helena

Hi Jody,

Thanks for this. After looking over the page I was wondering whether we can add UN(or UN Open GIS) to our partners pages. Actually OSGeo is clearly mentioned as its contributing members at UN Open GIS webpage(http://unopengis.org/about.html) I’ll contact Mr. Eom – Chief of UN Geospatial Information Section – on this matter and get back here.

Cheers,

신상희

Re: website review partner pages

Certainly, can you send me appropriate logo and text?

I also note that we have this page http://osgeo.getinteractive.nl/partners/gltn/ covering a different UN activity. I kind of get the impression the UN is big and we can have strategic relationships with different departments? In which case the page would be for "UN Geospatial Information Section" ?

We also have a page for http://osgeo.getinteractive.nl/initiatives/un-initiative/ covering our joint initiative with Mr. Eom.
