using map3d 2014 64 bit

gisbradokla
I just read that the ArcGIS connection is only supported on 32 bit os.
I have been unsuccessful connecting to sde since I have updated to 2014 and 10.2
I can't really find anything to help me.
Can someone point me to information.
Should I still use the old method of copying the sde files?
Where can I find information about adding the ArcGIS connection?
Does the ArcGIS connection add any datatype other than file gdb and
personal gdb?
All this is in reference to 64 bit

Hi Brad,

Esri provides the 64bit-dll's needed (pe.dll, sde.dll, sg.dll) with
their software. Copying these files into the Acad Map 3D FDO/bin-folder
served us right (at least for AcadMap 2011). Have not tried this yet on
AcadMap 2013 or 2014 however....

Thanks Heddo,
I have copied the files into fdo/bin
and previously this worked on 2013.
now I get the following...
Failed to connect.

FDO Provider entry point function 'CreateConnection' returned NULL.
I am trying a re-install now
