temporal filter issues

Florent gravin-2
Hi,

My filter capabilities tells me that temporal filter are here (i have all the filter in the capabilities document), but if i'm trying a filter like

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<GetFeature
   service="WFS"
   version="2.0.0"
   xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/wfs/2.0"
   xmlns:fes="http://www.opengis.net/fes/2.0"
   xmlns:au="urn:x-inspire:specification:gmlas:AdministrativeUnits:3.0"
   xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
   xmlns:gml="http://www.opengis.net/gml/3.2"

   xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.opengis.net/wfs/2.0
                       http://schemas.opengis.net/wfs/2.0/wfs.xsd">
   <Query typeNames="au:AdministrativeBoundary">
      <fes:Filter>
            <fes:Before>
              <fes:ValueReference>au:beginLifespanVersion</fes:ValueReference>
               <fes:Literal>2015-04-07T00:00:00.000Z</fes:Literal>
            </fes:Before>
      </fes:Filter>
   </Query>
</GetFeature>

i obtain a message

<ows:Exception exceptionCode="
NoApplicableCode"><ows:ExceptionText>java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to get property: {http://www.opengis.net/wfs/2.0}boundedBy
Failed to get property: {http://www.opengis.net/wfs/2.0}boundedBy
Temporal filters not supported</ows:ExceptionText></ows:Exception>

telling temporal filter are not supported ...

Is it my syntax that is wrong, or are the temporal filter really not supported ?

thank you

Hmm... I'm wondering if it's the application-schema store that does not support temporal filters maybe?
What you get in the capabilities document is a general statement, but some stores might decide
(wrongly) not to support certain filter.
What cannot be encoded natively should be supported by in-memory evaluation

It would be easier to assess what's going on by getting the full strack trace, you can get it by
enabling verbose exception reporting in the "Global" panel

Cheers
Andrea
