opensource initiative clearly defined tool

jody.garnett
Wanted to pass on to a link provided by the open source initiative (https://opensource.org). As you know OSGeo relies on OSI to short-list free software and open source licenses that are acceptable to the Foundation.  And then OSGeo adds on a host of additional requirements to ensure our projects are open in other respects (communication, decisions, docs, ...).

OSI started a group https://clearlydefined.io/about that looks at some of these other concerns and may be of interest to folks here.

Thank you Jody for this. Should any OSGeo committee serve this group?

I am not sure. Perhaps discuss with the incubation committee or board?
