What do you mean 'when choosing'? In the webadmin tool? What version of
geoserver are you usng? And what servlet container (or are you using the
.exe or bn install?) And do you have jai installed?
If you can turn on Verbose Exceptions in Config -> Server that will yield
more information for us to figure this out.
