[gdal-dev] Add padding to an image

Jeremy Palmer-3
Hi All,

What the best way to pad an output RGBA image with gdal tools?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Jeremy

Re: Add padding to an image

Hi,

Have you considered to ask this question from gis.stackexcange? As a
platform it suits better for a question like this that has many alternative
and perhaps opinion based answers. It allows also an easier way for you to
improve your question that in its current state would probably be closed in
gis.stackexchange as "too broad" or "unclear what you're asking", or perhaps
"primarily opinion-based".

Could you explain what you mean with padding, and if you would rather use
some GDAL program or for example Python?
