cs-map - github

Norman Barker-2
Hi,

I see proj4 has moved to github, any plans to do that with cs-map? Personally I am more familiar with the fork, PR model and it might help get more users.

Norman

Norman,

The OSGeo SAC committee, er actually Sandro Santilli who is the champion, has been implementing GitLab for OSGeo. This would be another infrastructure choice besides proprietary GitHub usage. I'm personally OK with using GitHub, but not everyone or every project is comfortable.

I don't know that it's 100% open for business, but you can test a login with your OSGeo ID at https://git.osgeo.org/gitlab/users/sign_in

Howard

I have neither a burning desire or objection to moving to GitHub.
