back up a GeoNode

Thomas Gertin-2
What is the best way to backup and restore a GeoNode?  From searching this topic, it seems like I’m finding some outdated documentation, or some materials that specify goals for future development. What is the best way of doing this right now for data, configuration settings, user data, etc?   Thanks, Tom G

Re: back up a GeoNode

Alessio Fabiani-2
Dear Thomas,
there is currently a work in progress for the backup and restore procedure of GeoNode.

On a development branch of GeoNode, some functionalities have been already implemented.

If you are a skilled user, you may try to have a look at them.

I just collected the email threads in this Google Document so you can check out what have been proposed until now.

Of course if you think this could be interesting and you have some place to contribute somehow, you are very welcome.

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Alessio Fabiani.
