Two questions about layer symbology

Ville Koivisto-2

Dear list,

I wonder if anyone knows if there’s any solution to modify @symbol_color syntax for labeling. My issue is the following:

How could I assign label text color by symbol color, BUT by a specified symbol layer (e.g. a feature is rendered as two lines of different width, one being red and being black)? I can use @symbol_color as an expression, but it will always use the wrong symbol layer for my case.

Any idea how one could modify the expression? Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Ville Koivisto

Re: Two questions about layer symbology

Hi Ville,

Why not add the Colours/Symbols to your attribute table? Create individual symbols and use a field in the attribute table to call them, then use a colour field to apply the correct colour to the text.

Hope this helps or gives you a few more ideas.

Regards,

Richard
