System requirements for GN 3.6.0

Hi,

What are recommended hardware requirements for the latest GN version 3.6.0? How about recommended Java and Jetty versions?

Sorry to ask but I couldn't find any info about this in online documentation.

Hi Kai

About hardware requirements should be similar as previous 3.x versions, 1
Gb-2 Gb memory (depending on the number of harvesters and load expected)
and several cores can help for intensive Lucene indexing (but any modern
server fits this).

For the Java version it's required Java 8, previous versions are not
supported and later versions with the new Java modules, GeoNetwork it's not
ready yet and will not work.

For Jetty, Geonetwork uses in the installer version 9.4.12.v20180830, but
not sure if other versions will, I usually run it with Tomcat 8.
