Yes, this is the txt file that you have created with the previous run. You
have to remove that as well before running r.basin again.

HI LIST!

I have a five years  time serie of NDVI, and i need to obtain the average
value of some polygons in a vector shape named "buffer_xime4", Im trying to
use v.rast.stats into a for cicle as follows:

contador=1
for map in `g.list rast pat=MOD13*A2010*NDVI`
do
v.rast.stats -c map=buffer_xime4 raster=$map column_prefix=$contador
method=average
let contador=contador+1
done

But grass (GRASS GIS 7.0.4) returns this error.

...................................................
....................................................

RROR: Error mientras se ejecutaba: 'ALTER TABLE buffer_xime4 ADD COLUMN
       1_average DOUBLE PRECISION'
ERROR: Unable to add column <1_average DOUBLE PRECISION>.

AFAIR in SQL column names starting with a number isn't allowed.

So try to switch from 1_average to average_1 and so on.

Re: grass-user Digest, Vol 126, Issue 37

Helmut Kudrnovsky
Is there anything which could be improved in the manual to avoid this leading number issue?
best regards
Helmut

Re: grass-user Digest, Vol 126, Issue 37

Micha Silver
With all the naming limitations, some OS-specific, some due to DBF, some SQL specific, I'm not sure how far the GRASS manuals need to cover all of them.
The current page SQL support page does already explain, in the NOTES section, the requirements for naming of SQL tables.
