Problem setting up feature store/ web service based on GML

StefanC
Dear List

I try to build a Web service (WFS, WMS) with deegree based on a GML's. Therefore a feature store is required. I have already tried two versions of the feature Store
1. File-Based MemoryFeaturesStore
2. Database Based SQLFeatureStore

In both versions, I have a GML schema specified or build the GML schema in the database.

Result set up the feature stores is always the error message "Current event not start_element". From the error message, I can not infer anything

Best regards

Stefan Carl

Dear Stefan,

can you please post the version of deegree and the GML application schema you have tried? Furthermore it is very helpfull if you can provide the complete deegree workspace and the request which results into the error message.

Hint: Remove all personal information or credentials from the configuration files before posting!

Further resources which might be helpful:

The Utah workspace:

https://github.com/deegree/deegree3/tree/master/deegree-workspaces/deegree-workspace-utah/src/main/workspace

The deegree Webservices handbook:

http://download.deegree.org/documentation/3.3.19/html/featurestores.html

Kind regards,

Torsten

Re: Problem setting up feature store/ web service based on GML

Dear Torsten,

I don't know whether the attachment was send successfully.

sorry for the late answer. I use deegree 3.3.18. I have attached the workspace that I use. I use the INSPIRE Template workspace as Template for the feature Store. I also try to set up application schemas (namespaces ...) the same way as the application schema of the INSPIRE workspace. I expand the INSPIRE Workspace with the Planned Landuse-schema (http://inspire.ec.europa.eu/schemas/plu/4.0/PlannedLandUse.xsd). The error message is still the same.

Maybe there is a problem with "gml:FeatureCollection". Most of the Template data are gml:spatialDatasets. But i'm not sure.

Best regards

Stefan

Re: Problem setting up feature store/ web service based on GML

StefanC
Dear Torsten,

I found the problem. the problem is the gml tag "boundedBy". In my GML-FILE it looks like:
<gml:boundedBy xsi:nil="true" />
It seems that deegree does not accept this and can't Parse the XML Stream.
If i build the boundedBy-Tag like:
<gml:boundedBy xsi:nil="true">
 <gml:null>missing</gml:null>
</gml:boundedBy>
then i can set up the feature store successfully.

Another possibility is to delete all "boundedBy" tags.

I'm not sure why deegree does not accept nil-values in this tag.

Thank you and

Best regards

Stefan
