Opinions on using GNU regex VS PHP regex for Windows build

Hello all,

With the recent releases of PHP (5.3.8, 5.3.9) I have noticed problems
compiling MapServer-trunk when pointing to PHP's regex code.  I can
switch to pointing to GNU regex library, and there are no compile errors
with MapServer-trunk.  Since I have always pointed to PHP's regex, I am
of course a little hesitant: so my question is, does anyone see any
issues if I switch to always use GNU regex instead?

Thanks.

For the record I'm going to move forward with the GNU regex.  I don't
think there are any issues in switching to that.

Sorry for the noise.
