Mirroring Subversion repositories to Git

Martin-Louis Bright

Hi!

Is there a Git mirror for the repositories hosted in Subversion at https://svn.osgeo.org/? It would be great if these repositories were on https://github.com/OSGeo.

This is a decision left to each project.
Which projects are you interested in ?
I expect projects with mirrors to advertise them.
Some projects have many mirrors, and many projects
are already under Git without necessarely being
on github (remember github is proprietary software!).

Are you aware of https://git.osgeo.org/gitea ?
You'll find many projects there, either with official
repositories or mirrors, see:

  https://git.osgeo.org/gitea/explore/organizations

Thanks for the link to the Gitea site. I'm interested in the following projects:

https://svn.osgeo.org/mapguide/
https://svn.osgeo.org/fdo/
https://svn.osgeo.org/metacrs/csmap/

suggest you ask on the mailing lists of each of those projects.

Usually contact information can be found on the corresponding
trac instance (if you don't have another known official website
address):

  https://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide
  https://trac.osgeo.org/fdo
  https://trac.osgeo.org/csmap (found from https://trac.osgeo.org/metacrs)
