Mapguide 3.1 installation procedures

james2che

I’m excited about using Autodesk Map3D online with MapGuide Open Source.  I’ve found root access at Amazon’s AWS which has Ubuntu 14.04.  I find good mapguide install guidance for Ubuntu 8.04 from OSGeo but I haven’t found the same level of detail for MG 3.1 Ubuntu 14.04.  May I ask if some straight forward documentation exists?  I’m a self taught programmer anticipating the unexpected before  achieving a functioning mapguide server.

I’ve evolved to Centos 6.x which doesn’t have any errors during the mapguide 3.1 install. This might be a better area for me to inquire about successful MG3.1 install procedures.  Thankyou in advance for replying.
