[MS4W-Users] MS4W 3.0.4-beta1 available

Happy new year everyone,

MS4W 3.0.4-beta1 is available now at:
http://www.maptools.org/ms4w/index.phtml?page=downloads.html

Some users might like to begin experimenting with the new MapCache
Apache module, as well as GDAL 1.9.0, and MapServer 6.1-dev.  Please
give it a try and report back (you will find MapCache-specific
instructions in your local README file (127.0.0.1/README_INSTALL.html).

Here is the MS4W changelog:

          - added MapCache module to Apache (ticket 2306)
          - upgraded GDAL to 1.9.0 (ticket 2356)
          - upgraded Apache to 2.2.21, with OpenSSL 0.9.8r (ticket 2349)
          - upgraded PHP to 5.3.9 (ticket 2343)
          - rebuilt PHP with LDAP support (ticket 2353)
          - added Apache and PHP licenses to MS4W Component Licensing
(ticket 2310)
          - added ESRI File Geodatabase support for GDAL (ticket 2338)
          - upgraded to GEOS 3.3.2 support for GDAL and MapServer
(ticket 2357)
          - upgraded to libPNG 1.5.7 support for GDAL and MapServer
(ticket 2287)
          - upgraded to libTIFF 4.0.0 support for GDAL (ticket 2358)
          - upgraded to geoTIFF 1.3.1-dev support for GDAL
          - upgraded to PostgreSQL 9.1.2 support for GDAL
          - upgraded to Freetype 2.4.8 support for MapServer
          - upgraded to Oracle SDK 11.2.0.2.0 for GDAL and MapServer

I really glad to see mapcache support and this is an awesome list of
upgraded packages.

I'm not aware of changes to mode=nquery, but maybe others know.

Jeff,

It appears that you're building mapserv from trunk, not branch-6-0.
Does the mean that there will not be a 6.0.2 release? That the next
stop is 6.1?

MS4W-3.0.4-final will contain the next MapServer release.

For now, MS4W users wanting to give the latest MapServer code a try can
use MS4W-3.0.4-beta.
