How is geonetwork 3.0.5 build?

Dr. Marco Lechner
Hi (may be Maria)?

can anybody/you tell me how Geonetwork 3.0.5 is build?

I guess it is based on #4df0df8, but Travis [2] fails to build as well
as my local repo does not build.

The reason is clearly that the taged version (3.0.5, #4df0df8) has an
updated geoserver submodule but all the pom.xml files of the main repo
still have 3.0.5-SNAPSHOT version set [3], while it should be 3.0.5-0, I
guess.
How was the geonetwork.war downloadable at Sourceforge [4] build?
And shouldn't the taged version (3.0.5) be the right version to create
the release without errors?

Best regards.

Marco

Hi Marco

You're right, I see this commit: https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/commit/4df0df8ad8c759ba25cbdc5234172b47cf0f8fa0, but only affects the geoserver module. The later commits change to 3.0.6-SNAPSHOT

I'm afraid 3.0.5 release should be redone, reverting latest commits to setup properly the 3.0.5 version properly and creating the tag again.

Will discuss with other developers to fix this, thanks for pointing it.

Regards,
Jose García

Hi Marco,

It was my first official build, so maybe I messed up something there
with versioning? Locally it built for me and that's how the war was
uploaded to sourceforge.

Hi all,

I have re-created the tag. Now it should work fine.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
