[Gvsig-announce-builds] New gvSIG-desktop v_2.0.0 build 2045 alpha4

Mario Carrera-3

A new gvSIG-desktop build (2045 alpha4) of the v2_0_0_prep branch has
been created and it is available for downloading in the link:

http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-desktop/devel/gvsig

Also, a new tag has been created for the build in the subversion repository:

https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-desktop/tags/v2_0_0_Build_2045
https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-scripting/org.gvsig.scripting/tags/gvSIG_v2_0_0_Build_2045
https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-scripting/org.gvsig.scripting.app/tags/gvSIG_v2_0_0_Build_2045

The build is directed exclusively to developers, so it is advised
earnestly to NOT download it for production environments. It is also not
advised for testing, as it has many known bugs pending to be solved.

The main objective of the build is to provide the developers, who want
to work with the future gvSIG version 2.0.0, the gvSIG binaries already
built. This way the developers may start developing and testing without
having to prepare and compile the basic gvSIG projects by themselves.

You can take a look at all the changes performed in the following page:

https://projects.gvsig.org/redmine/projects/gvsig-desktop/versions/3

Known installer issues:

- When installed in linux 64 bits, the installer is not able to locate a
32 bits JVM which is needed by our current native libraries. You may
modify the gvSIG.sh launcher script into your installation to point the
JAVA_HOME variable to your 32 bit JVM location.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

enlace:

http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-desktop/devel/gvsig

https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-desktop/tags/v2_0_0_Build_2045
https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-scripting/org.gvsig.scripting/tags/gvSIG_v2_0_0_Build_2045
https://devel.gvsig.org/svn/gvsig-scripting/org.gvsig.scripting.app/tags/gvSIG_v2_0_0_Build_2045

https://projects.gvsig.org/redmine/projects/gvsig-desktop/versions/3
