Hi All - My first ever post!
For weeks now (to long) I have been trying to create a cached pyramid of layers some OS Imagery Data. Reading the forums I have had similar white bar issues and therefore dropped to Using Geoserver 2.1.0. This also worked for me. I have tried the below on Ubuntu and Windows compiled versions.
I have currently taken four jpg's and Used GDAL_translate to create GeoTifs. Then used GDALTIndex to create the shape file. (used AndyC' blog) All fine get my layer and serves up fine in OpenLayers and Gaia3.
I have modified Web.xml to point to a shared folder \gwc which is where I have created a geowebcache.xml which I need to cache the files in the epsg:27700 format. Restart Geoserver - usually have to bounce Tomcat7 to do this, and then run GeoWebCache from GeoServer. My layer appears, I choose SEED and I get the Gridset settings as set up in the GeoWebCache.xml file. I choose 2 Levels and I get an appropriate file structure and png files but all the tiles are always Black or White?
I have run out of options can anyone give me some hints to try?
My GeoWebCache file looks like this:
My Workspace = imagery
My Storename = imagerytif
My layername = imagerytif
