GeoNetwork 3.10.6 and 4.0.2 released

Jose Garcia
Dear all,

We're proud to announce the releases of GeoNetwork opensource v3.10.6 and v4.0.2 (http://geonetwork-opensource.org/).

You can find a list of new functionalities and fixes in v3.10.6 at https://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/trunk/en/overview/change-log/version-3.10.6.html and in v4.0.2 at https://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/4.0.x/en/overview/change-log/version-4.0.2.html

If you have any improvements you want to contribute back, the best is to use git to get a local copy of the source code, apply the fix and put out a Pull request so your improvements can be integrated quickly. Otherwise you can also create new Tickets in the issue tracker:
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/issues

Thanks and congratulations to the all community members and developers that have been putting efforts and energy in these releases!

The iso193139.ca.HNAP 3.10.6 release is now available as well:
See 3.10.6 milestone for new functionalities and fixes.

This release is our first to include a small end-user guide, available for local installation. Future releases we will be looking at translation into French. The source code will be available for any other regional schemas that wish to translate for their region and sample data.

A big thanks to Jose and Ian for their contributions to this release.
