As far as I can see the test fail because the capabliities backlink to http://localhost:8080/geoserver/geoserver/gwc/..."
(notice the double "geoserver" in the path).

I'm guessing this merge might be the cause, it's related to path parsing and has been merged within the last day:

However, not sure if the bug is in the newly merged code, or in the capabilities building code (could be both).

Could the involved people have a look? (I'm guessing Kevin and Nuno, but it's just a guess)

Cheers
Andrea

Re: Changes in GWC breaking build in GeoServer

Nuno Oliveira-3
Hi Ben, all,

Locally, removing this GWC commits (merger commit + commit) fixed the GeoServer build:

commit 86998e1e3c4b3eb75dbe90c6caebe93b2a11e733
commit 1f73e43c027423fef9009fb2ae6b7db9134c81a6

The related pull request is this one:

https://github.com/GeoWebCache/geowebcache/pull/619

I was not involved with that PR so not sure what is going on, Kevin I'm passing the ball to you :)

Cheers,

Nuno Oliveira

Re: Changes in GWC breaking build in GeoServer

Kevin Smith-3
So I tried to dig in to this and was stymied by classpath errors involving unit-api in Eclipse that masked these failures.  I eventually switched to another machine.  The problem was not what I initially expected (needing to add Host headers to the Mock HTTP requests).  It looks like the patch does break things and need to be changed.  I've spent all the time I can spare on this so I've reverted it and let the contributor know.

Hi Ben, all,

Locally, removing this GWC commits (merger commit + commit) fixed the GeoServer build:

commit 86998e1e3c4b3eb75dbe90c6caebe93b2a11e733
commit 1f73e43c027423fef9009fb2ae6b7db9134c81a6

The related pull request is this one:

I was not involved with that PR so not sure what is going on, Kevin I'm passing the ball to you :)
