Can i modify existing coordinates data in GeoTiff using GDAL

Hi community,

            I have a geotiff data for a region. I would like to change the corner coordinates manually... Is it posssible using GDAL , if so,  which API is to be used......

      Is there any other method to accomplish it ???

Any help is appreciated...
